The LUSD Fourth Grade Orff Ensemble consists of select students from 4th grade classes at both Franklin and Placer Elementary Schools in the Loomis Union School District. These students receive 30 minutes of music education per week in a dedicated music classroom. Elementary Music Education in Loomis is all-inclusive and provides ALL students an opportunity to study music from the first day in TK. Every student in Loomis Union School District is enrolled in Beginning Band in 5th grade. Their curriculum in 4th grade reflects the transition from General Music to Ensemble education.
