Participants will engage in an active elementary general music lesson developed in the Orff Schulwerk approach. They will improvise and create with: speech, singing, movement, and instruments; all stemming from one simple seed of inspiration. The clinician will speak to the process of taking great care in selecting material and other seeds of inspiration and will engage participants in a discussion of possibilities for adapting this example to their own classrooms.
