Join the collegiate council alongside professional educators for a discussion about how to address culturally responsive pedagogy, learn what it could look like, and discuss how collegiate students can learn to facilitate it with students in their classrooms. With the support of professional music educators, we will create a space to reflect, redirect, and redefine the important practice that is culturally responsive teaching. Alongside mentors and fellow collegiate students, we will discuss and share our own experiences and think about how we can create culturally responsive environments in our own classrooms and communities throughout the state and beyond.
