CMEA Elementary Music Showcase Application

We are excited to announce that CMEA will host the first-ever Elementary Classroom Music Showcase on Thursday morning, January 16, 2024. The intent of this Showcase is to feature elementary ensembles on the performance main stage and will feature 4-6 groups representing the variety of music making ensembles and classes existing in UTK-Grade 5/6 settings. Ensembles may include classroom/general music, guitar, percussion, ukulele, Orff, etc.. Please note, this Elementary Showcase is separate from the performance opportunities that currently exist throughout the convention site, and a video and application is required.

Performance day – Thursday morning, January 16, 2025
An Orff instrumentarium and some drums will be provided and will be communicated to the ensemble once accepted.
Each ensemble will have 15-20 minutes of performance time.
