Easy as Pie! Combining Orff, Kodály, and Dalcroze in Classroom Music

Saturday – January 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM

Just like baking a pie, creating music lessons that engage all learners requires multiple ingredients (pedagogies). When put together the result is a delightful, delicious, and musical bite. This session will engage participants in identifying the ingredients and layers of a lesson that combine Orff, Kodály, and Dalcroze pedagogies. Participants can also expect to see examples of lesson plans, engage in sample activities, and generate ideas for their own layered lesson plans.
