Thursday – January 15, 2026 at 4:00 PM

With the growth of modern band ensembles in music education, more and more music educators step out of their comfort zone by teaching a group of unfamiliar instruments to put on student performances. However, many struggle with getting beyond the basics of chords and rhythms to take these bands to the next level. This clinic will focus on improving the sound, stage presence, and intangibles of a student band, with hands on knowledge in real time with a demo ensemble. Participants will leave with practical tips for working on balance and blend of live sound, tightening up the groove, and making sure students feel great and successful at every show.
