Babatunde Olatunji brought the “African Sound” to popular music and spent most of his life in California. His mission was to spread love, rhythm, and the spirit of the drum to everyone. Kalani shares some of his favorite Olatunji songs in this session, ones that are accessible, flexible, musical, and relevant. Participants will discover ways to integrate song topics to other areas of learning and expression. Let’s help keep his vision alive by learning some of his most accessible songs.
