We often think of mindfulness as a separate activity to try and fit into our already busy lives. Between teaching, lesson planning, score study, and trying to balance personal lives, the thought of working in a mindfulness routine can feel like another thing you need add to your “to do list.” However, scholars have proven that a consistent mindfulness practice can assist with stress management and burnout in educators. This presentation is designed to provide ideas for a mindful approach to life for the busy music educator to incorporate into their daily routines.
