Being a new teacher is the start of a journey filled with excitement, learning, and exploring. There is a lot that comes into being a new teacher in learning to navigate the classroom, teaching new material, classroom procedures, and much more. There are also many challenges that new teachers can face. In this session, we will be coming together as new teachers in harmony to network, have conversations, and learn from each other experiences being new teachers. This session is set to empower new teachers and learn from one another.

Daniel Crispino
Daniel Crispino is a first-year teacher at Red Bluff High School in Red Bluff, California, and serves as the New Teacher Representative for CMEA. He recently served as the CMEA Collegiate President for two years before he graduated college and became a full-time teacher. Daniel teaches Mariachi, Jazz Band, Guitar, Concert Band, and Marching Band. Daniel aspires to bring new teachers together to network, learn from one another, and empower each other.
