This session invites participants to explore the challenges and possibilities AI presents for music education, including issues of creativity, authenticity, ethics, and student learning. Through demonstrations and discussion, attendees will examine current AI tools and engage in critical conversations about how the profession can thoughtfully respond to these rapidly evolving technologies.

The California Arts Project
The California Arts Project (TCAP) is a collaborative, statewide network of classroom teachers and university scholars with the mission of improving teaching and learning in dance, music, theatre, visual arts, and in arts, media, and entertainment. TCAP is one of the nine California Subject Matter Projects. TCAP’s set of regional sites, located on universities across the state, develop teacher leadership and provide support to educators, schools, districts, and county offices through TCAP’s professional learning opportunities. TCAP’s network of teacher leaders, K- university, advocate for and strive to ensure access for all California students to a sequential, comprehensive, and excellent standards-based arts and career education.
