I PLAY, You PLAY, We All PLAY Together!

Friday – January 15, 2027 at 9:00 AM | B9

In this session attendees will approach learning through the most efficient and joyful of ways: PLAY!

Attendees will actively participate in experiences that lay the foundation for music literacy, develop social connection, and bring joy and stability to the classroom. A single song experience game of Education Through Music can engage children of any language, culture, gender, and ability in a way that is appropriate for social emotional development and music literacy. Attendees will engage in both the role of the student as they play their way through understanding and the role of educator as they reflect on how to implement the ETM philosophy in their classroom.
Provided notes will promote further consideration for the learners' developmental and neurologic needs in the music classroom.
