Friday – January 15, 2027 at 11:00 AM | B10

Warm-up's getting stale? Hear about approaches that engage creativity and critical thinking in the warm up process. Creative activities build focus and technique while balancing key ingredients: Consistency, Variety, Teamwork, Independence. The clinician will tap into observations of master clinicians and composer/conductors, plus insights from experienced mentor teachers. Enjoy their varied perspectives on creating thoughtful, inclusive warm-ups. With performers demonstrating, explore group/partner activities, fun games, and improvisation/composition sparks. For a longer or repertoire-based approach, or a quick jumpstart, these warm up ideas will make your rehearsals shine.
