Mariachi Flores de Pioneer High School is comprised of students in Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced mariachi classes in grades 9–12 at Pioneer High School in Woodland. As part of a Title I school within the Woodland Joint Unified School District, the ensemble reflects the district’s strong commitment to culturally responsive music education. WJUSD proudly provides mariachi education opportunities for middle and high school students across the district under the leadership of Marisa Finlayson and Idbin Acosta. Mariachi Flores celebrates the rich traditions of mariachi music while fostering musicianship, community, and student pride through performance.
