This ensemble consists of approximately 40 students who come together to share a dedication to music and their craft. While the ensemble is grateful to consistently receive Unanimous Superior ratings at CMEA festivals, the students prioritize the process of growth and teamwork as much as the accolades.
A meaningful highlight of their year is the trip to Disneyland, where they have the opportunity to perform on stage and learn during a professional soundtrack recording workshop through the Disney Imagination Campus. However, the program’s heart is its student-led culture. These young musicians take it upon themselves to ensure a genuine sense of belonging and inclusivity for every peer.
Through visiting local elementary schools to welcome new players and taking the lead on fundraising, the students work to sustain their community. It is a program rooted in a simple, shared love for music and a commitment to supporting one another.
