Redwood High School Chamber Orchestra

At Redwood High School, our Chamber orchestra is one of 3 string orchestras.  Our Strings program has over 120 students (grades 9-12).  They have received Unanimous Superior Ratings at our local CMEA festival for at least the past 12 years. We participated in the State CMEA Large group festival in 2025 and 2026.  Next year, we will be competing at the National Orchestra festival at the ASTA conference in Chicago. We also have multiple students participate in the December CODA honor orchestras and All-State each year.  Redwood High School is a public High School in Visalia, CA that serves over 2,400 students.  Visalia is in Tulare County in the Central Valley which is a part of TKMEA (Tulare/Kings Co. MEA) which in turn is a part of CMEA Central Section.  Our school district is one of the few in TKMEA that has a viable string program.
